Save Your Route
Finally, lets save the route to disk:

With the Route 3 window active, click on the Save Route button on the tool bar
or use the
<Ctrl-S> keyboard shortcut.

When the Save Route window appears, choose the drive and folder on your hard
drive where
you want to save the route. Type a file name such as Augusta-Charleston in the
File
Name field. The file extension .R16 will automatically be added to this name.
Click on
the Save button. Route 3 is now saved on your hard drive in the Na\Options
folder in the
folder where PC MILER was installed.

Try closing and opening this saved route. Close the Route 3 window. Click the
Open button
on the tool bar, select the route file, and click Open.
