First Select a Region
When using PC Miler Worldwide, you may need to change the
world region before entering trips. The currently selected
region is displayed in the title bar of each route entry
window. Places that are located in countries outside this
region cannot be entered as stops on a route.
The world region can be changed for each individual trip, or
you can change the default for this setting. For this Tour,
we will select Europe as our region. In the steps below,
we’ll change the region for the first trip we are going to
run and then change the default region setting as well.

Click the Options button in
the Route 1 route entry window to open the Options
dialog box.

In the General Options tab, select “Europe”
from the Region pick list.

Select “Europe” from the
region pick list. You will notice that the Routing
options change when you do this.

Select “Km” under Distance
in.

Click OK to close the dialog
and save this change. Europe is now the selected region
for the current trip.
Note on Default Options: You can set default options that
stay the same for each new route. Select Default Options…
from the Route menu. The route options in the Default
Options dialog are identical to those in the Options dialog.
The defaults you set will remain active until they are
changed again by the user.
